I would run 7-10 passes to ensure that the RAM is error free. All my love and my gratitude to anyone who can help me.I was told this is simply a setting in my BIOS that needs to be changed so I was wondering if anyone here could help me out. The computer works with the 4gb on slots 3 & 4, I guess all the slots are OK two. Old motherboard with same CPU--- No chance of bent pins, so swap the CPU and RAM slots will work (just happened to me on core i7-7700 without even overclocking).

And it only has two DIMM sockets so I have no other sockets to compare

  3. Clear the Automatically manage paging file size for all drives check box save / apply changes & restart your pc, check (Task Manager/Performance/Memory) & see if Win 10 has the 16GB of Ram available, If it works turn Auto back on & restart again, worth a shot.
  4. Put back everything Batteries / Cell /RAMs.  sometimes one is chaging the case and shorts the mainboard, now two mainboards being shorted is very odd.
